Is The Urantia Book polytheistic?

[back]<<   [print]    [email]
The Urantia Book teaches unequivocally that there is only one God, the first source and center of all things and beings. However, God manifests in myriad ways, the most important of which is through the Paradise Trinity. When the authors of the book refer to God and his associate deities they often make reference to "the Gods." This can be confusing when taken out of context. However, reading the book helps to provide a conceptual understanding that all these manifestations are in reality the many facets of the one true God.
