Q: Why is Earth called Urantia? Is it related with planet Uranus and its influence over Earth?

The same is true of all the other unusual and unique names found in the book. Celestial beings don't speak English; the words they use would have no meaning to us.

So, no, it has nothing to do with Uranus other than the connection through Greek mythology. The planets do not exert astrological influence over Earth.
